Marissa “Cipher” Singh is a gifted linguist, codebreaker, radio operator and qualified light recon airship pilot.
Born in India of Punjabi heritage and educated in Britain, Singh is a product of empire. Originally aiming for the Foreign Service, she was recruited straight out of university to join AEGIS, which has given her a broader and more critical perspective on the nature of colonialism. Given her linguistic talents and mind for codes and puzzles, Marissa Singh has proved to be a valuable crewmember of the Daedalus, and a promising airship commander in her own right.
Serving as the communications officer and relief pilot of the LR3-01 Daedalus since 1927, Cipher has undertaken many adventures around the world.
